I was very saddened to hear the news. Tony and I became acquainted as part of the first group of journalists to visit a Hyundai plant in Korea (1986) and remained pals for three decades. We shared so many interests that usually had little to do with autos; he was so worldly and curious and enthusiastic. He was so balanced and kind that it was impossible not to like and respect him. I will keep Tony in my thoughts for a very long time. My condolences.

We met Tony and Lynn when they moved into our patio home complex in Qualicum Beach. More wonderful neighbours you could not hope to have and an incredible benefit to our complex. Tony immediately went on Council and Lynn initiated and still organizes many social events. Our only regret…we didn’t get to know them sooner. Rest in Peace, Tony.
